Equifax is seeking a visionary Sr. Director, Commercial Risk Products to spearhead the evolution of our most strategic business vertical. What you’ll do
As the leader of the Commercial Risk vertical, you will be the primary architect of Equifax’s strategy for assessing business risk across lending, credit, and trade credit sectors. You will:
Define the Future: Own the vision and multi-year roadmap for our "next generation" of Commercial Risk products, ensuring Equifax remains at the leading edge of the SMB space.
Lead & Grow: Direct and mentor a high-performing team of Product Owners and Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation and executional excellence.
Drive Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the connective tissue between Data, Analytics, Technology, and Sales to build products that are technically robust and commercially dominant.
Influence & Rally: Serve as a primary spokesperson for the Risk vertical, aligning internal stakeholders and executive leadership around your strategic priorities.
Deliver at Scale: Manage the full product lifecycle—from initial discovery and commercial modeling to go-to-market execution—ensuring we meet market demands with rigor and speed.
What experience you’ll needProduct Leadership: 10+ years of Product Management experience (or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent tenure); 3+ years specifically leading teams or driving large-scale initiatives via influence in a matrixed environment.
SMB Risk Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Commercial Risk landscape, including credit assessment, loan origination workflows, and trade credit dynamics.
Technical Literacy: Proven experience with cloud-based products and an understanding of cloud architecture and deployment models.
Strategic Execution: Expert at writing detailed requirements, defining commercial packaging, and managing the financial health (budgets and investments) of a product portfolio.
Modern Toolset: Proficiency in Aha!, JIRA, and Lucid to drive the product development lifecycle.
Communication Mastery: Ability to translate complex data concepts into compelling executive-level presentations and a clear product vision.
