Job Description

Revelyst Golf Technology is seeking a Sr. Director of Business Intelligence to lead the organization's data and analytics strategy, transforming information into actionable insights that drive growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage. This executive leader will serve as a strategic partner to the President, CFO, and functional leaders across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Customer Experience, and Finance, ensuring data-driven decision-making throughout the business.

The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, strategic leadership, and deep analytical expertise. They will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing BI function, establishing enterprise reporting standards, driving data governance, and delivering insights that accelerate revenue growth, profitability, customer engagement, and product innovation.

This position reports to the CFO, Revelyst Golf Technology, and is based in Carlsbad, CA.

As the Sr. Director, Business Intelligence, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute the company's business intelligence and analytics strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth initiatives.

  • Build and drive our subscriber waterfall tracking and reporting across all brands including attach rate, retention, ARR, ARPU and LTV.

  • Serve as a key strategic advisor to executive leadership, providing data-driven recommendations that influence business planning and investment decisions.

  • Lead the evolution of analytics capabilities across the organization, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing BI and analytics team while establishing scalable processes and best practices.

  • Design and oversee executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and reporting platforms that provide visibility into enterprise performance.

  • Deliver actionable insights regarding revenue growth, profitability, customer acquisition, retention, product adoption, and operational efficiency.

  • Lead business performance reviews and present findings, trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Establish standardized metrics and reporting methodologies that enable consistent performance measurement across functions.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Product, Customer Experience, and Finance leaders to identify growth opportunities and improve business outcomes.

  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, product performance, and channel effectiveness to support strategic initiatives.

  • Partner with Finance to drive forecasting, scenario planning, and predictive analytics capabilities that support business planning and resource allocation.

  • Develop analytical frameworks that guide pricing, customer acquisition, retention, and long-term growth strategies.

  • Establish and maintain enterprise-wide data governance standards, ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.

  • Own master data management standards for products, customers, channels, and brands, ensuring a single source of truth across the enterprise.

  • Partner with IT and business leaders to define the organization's data architecture, reporting infrastructure, and analytics roadmap.

  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, improve data accessibility, and enhance self-service analytics capabilities.

  • Champion the use of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities and business insights.

  • Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives that leverage data to improve customer experience, operational effectiveness, and financial performance.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through measurement, accountability, and data-driven execution.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business intelligence, analytics, data strategy, or related leadership roles.

  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing analytics, BI, or data teams.

  • Demonstrated success influencing executive-level decision-making through data and insights.

  • Advanced expertise with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data architecture concepts; experience with Python and advanced analytics preferred.

  • Experience leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve reporting, forecasting, dashboarding, and business insights.

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including experience supporting revenue, profitability, and strategic planning initiatives.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.

  • Experience building KPI frameworks, performance management systems, and executive reporting capabilities.

  • Proven ability to drive alignment and influence across multiple functions and stakeholders.

You might have:

  • Experience leading analytics functions within consumer products, sporting goods, technology, subscription, or eCommerce businesses.

  • Experience operating in a multi-brand or portfolio organization.

  • Knowledge of ERP, CRM, customer data platforms, digital marketing ecosystems, and eCommerce technologies.

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, data warehouses, ETL processes, and modern analytics architectures.

  • Experience with forecasting, predictive modeling, customer segmentation, and advanced statistical analysis.

  • Passion for golf, sports technology, outdoor recreation, or performance-driven consumer brands.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $240,000.00 - $260,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
