Position: Senior Director of Analytics Engineering

The Senior Director, Analytics Engineering will be responsible for aligning data used by operations, finance, IT, external vendors, and health plans to best position Monogram Health for successful performance within Value-Based Care contracts.  The right candidate will be able to bridge technical and business requirements to provide value creation both internally and externally.  In addition, the Senior Director, Analytics Engineering will hold responsibility over all DataMart (Gold Layer) development, in support of internal operational reporting and both internal and external financial, patient outcomes, and quality reporting.  This position reports to the VP, Reporting & Analytics Engineering.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of data engineers, developers, and analysts in the design, development, and maintenance of the DataMart (Gold Layer) for business and operational support
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of the membership eligibility and lead generation process for populations attributed to Monogram through Value-Based Care contracts
  • Design and operationalize performance monitoring tools and capabilities for dashboards (internal and client-facing), internal management reporting and board reporting
  • Partner with our Implementations and Client Partnership teams on achieving successful client implementations
  • Partner with departments such as IT and Finance in ensuring appropriate data structure and reporting
  • Create an environment conducive to growth by creating scalable and flexible solutions to data challenges

Position Requirements

  • 8+ years previous experience working in a Value-Based Care provider group and/or health plan
  • Experience working with standard software development processes (e.g. developing within Scrum framework)
  • Experience in data engineering to support analytics use cases
  • Experience in coaching, leading and hiring a top performing team
  • Highly proficient in SQL
  • Expertise in healthcare claims and healthcare operational data analysis
  • Project Management experience
  • Cloud computing experience
