The Role

Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to drive the transformation at enterprise level from 'Project to Product' model, enabling the organization to learn, adopt and mature on Agile, DevOps and Product practices through coaching. This role is responsible for managing a Center of Excellence for Agile, DevOps and Product practices. This role is dedicated to enabling the implementation of lean Agile ways of working throughout the enterprise. This role serves as a continuous source of energy that helps power the enterprise through the necessary Agile, DevOps and Product transformation change to a state of enterprise-wide continuous improvement. This leader helps build organizational operating alignment and execution around Agile/DevOps/Product principles and practices and facilitates enterprise-wide Communities of Practice. This role helps the organization improve and achieve its business goals relentlessly by establishing and maintaining the Agile systems and reporting capabilities that ensure the smooth deployment and operation of value delivery to our customers. This includes being the communication and advisory liaison for the Lowe's 'Project to Product' transformation strategy.
What you will do

  • Designs and delivers Agile/DevOps/Product coaching offerings to stakeholders and teams, fosters Agile/DevOps/Product Communities of Practice (CoPs), and extends Lean-Agile/Product practices to other areas of the company, including Lean Portfolio Management, Lowe's business teams as needed and human resources
  • Conducts or sources training for executives, managers and leaders, development teams, and specialty roles such as Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master, etc.
  • Develops the agile implementation plan, manages the transformation backlog, and establishes metrics
  • Implements Lean-Agile initiatives, promotes continuing Lean-Agile education, and presents internal case studies
  • Engages with the external communities to stay updated on the new trends in agile and Product world
  • Defines and implements Scrum Master as a Service model to drive effective, efficient and consistent SM services across Lowe's Tech
  • Establishes and ensures strong relationships with key cross-functional partners are maintained over time and through challenging initiatives and organizational changes
  • Provides leadership and direction to ensure start/continue/stop coaching offerings depending on the state of the transformation journey
  • Collaborates and supports Lowe's Tech LUTI team to drive alignment and consistency across the offerings
  • Ensures the team is continuously looking for ways to improve processes and best practices; provides strategic guidance when developing and rolling out new practices; drives a culture of relentless improvement throughout the team
  • Hires, trains, and develops talent for growth opportunities; monitors team/individual's morale and engagement to maintain highly effective and collaborative environments; drives the talent strategy and best practices across the team
  • Provides leadership to the team by attracting and hiring talented individuals, setting goals and communicating clear expectations, providing timely and constructive feedback as well as meaningful developmental opportunities, managing performance, providing resources and support as needed, and sponsoring and leading team members through change
  • Responsible for departmental budget forecasting and allocation decisions
  • This position manages/supervises people


Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)• 10 years of IT or related business experience• Experience working in an Agile development environment• 5 years of leadership experience with direct report responsibility• First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or PSM Certification(s)• 3 years of experience managing operational and/or project financial budgets• Experience working with distributed US and Global teams
Preferred Qualifications• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)• Experience in the Retail industry• Experience in or with a Software Engineering team

Pay Range: $179,000.00 - $340,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
