Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech?® Vishay Electronic GmbH in Landshut is currently seeking applicants for a Senior Director Operations (m/w/d) ESTA Division.
What you will be doing:
- Develops overarching strategies, guidelines and procedures for assigned operations in Blatna (CZ), Loni (India), Shatian (CN) and Landshut (Germany) in accordance with Division planning.
- Plans and allocates regional and business-related operations budgets, resources and functional service portfolio for all operations assigned.
- Consolidates budgets for all plants (Investments, head count, expansion planning, and others) in agreement with superiors to meet defined business targets in most effective way.
- Approves all projects, investments, allocates resources to ensure reaching defined operational targets.
- Is responsible for supervision and keeping operational targets as revenue and margins, including needed actions to maintain expected levels.
- Develops programs to improve efficiency in operations and organization and drives innovation in equipment and new methods.
- Responsible for keeping defined operational targets as revenue and margins.
- Ensures functional advice to all parts of the organization to support operations.
- Supervise of all plants in keeping in with any requirements (EHS, …)
What you will bring along:
- Engineering base (preferred Electronic, economic or similar education)
- Well-founded skills in leading teams (international and cross functional)
- Expertise in project management
- Fluent English language reading / writing
- Advanced skills in MS-Office programs
- Base knowledge of SAP System
- Willingness to travel (international)
