OVERVIEW:
Skillsoft is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Director of Business Intelligence to join our team. The Director of Business Intelligence will be responsible for building out the full suite of management and operational reporting. This position will lead a small team of 2-4 individuals and will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify key business metrics and develop reporting solutions to support data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate will be a player-coach where team management and individual contribution will be equally important and critical.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy to support business objectives and drive growth
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify key business metrics and reporting requirements
- Build out the full suite of management and operational reporting, including dashboards, scorecards, and ad-hoc reports
- Lead a small team of BI professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship as needed
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness, and identify opportunities for data quality improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in BI and analytics, and leverage this knowledge to continuously improve our reporting capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team of BI professionals
- Experience developing and implementing BI strategies and solutions
- Advanced knowledge of BI tools and technologies, such as Power BI, Looker, SSRS, SQL and native reporting in the could data platforms – Snowflake, Azure, AWS
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be $174,000 to $217,000 annualized.
We also offer participation in the Company Bonus Program and full benefits. The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
