About the role:
The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible in the development, deployment, and optimization of our marketing automation campaigns. Individual in this role will also work on organizing and managing email communications to clients. Strategies include the development and harmonization of email campaigns, landing pages, forms and other tactics and technologies to support all marketing and demand generation efforts. Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of advances in digital marketing.
What you will do:
- Outbound Communication
- Manage outbound communications to drive web traffic, boost engagement and drive registrations via email. This would primarily include email asset creation and campaign set up, in addition occasional setting up segments using the right filter conditions in Eloqua.
- Work in tandem with Database and Marketing teams to ensure appropriate audiences are reached effectively at the optimal times with the ideal message
- Participate in automation initiatives to enhance the email operations process and reduce the turnaround time for deliverables.
- Ensure all SLAs and project milestones are met, and the internal processes are followed to a T.
- Be time flexible when needed to accommodate critical demand.
- Ensure hygiene checks for trackers and shared mailboxes, facilitate document/training guides’ creation and update internal resource libraries.
- Help maintain the communications calendar to ensure right balance of outreach and timely completion of projects.
- Lead and facilitate special projects for instance onboarding new business units, set sensible milestones, ensure timely upstream of status updates, and timely completion of projects
- Identifies opportunities for business process improvement, recommends, and implements change
- Analysis
- Use campaign metrics (MAP & GA) to shape stories, translating complex data points into narratives and recommendations, including testing programs, stakeholders can understand and action
- Assist with email KPI analysis to determine email effectiveness.
- Identify and conduct A/B tests to build email best practices.
- Create dashboards and presentations on email and web product performance. Identify opportunities for improvement based on this performance.
- Run deeper email analysis and layout rendering tests on Email on Acid.
- Build a KPI benchmark for campaigns across various business functions.
- Collaboration
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the development of scalable digital programs, configure campaigns in MAP, produce digital assets, ensure quality standards, and provide both analytics and analysis
- Maintain clear and eloquent written and verbal communication.
- Project manage a team of 4-5 marketers based out of our Gurgaon/Bangalore/Mumbai offices.
- Collaborate with Manager and skip-level Manager(s) to identify opportunities and risks in processes and tools.
- Periodically lead training and coaching sessions for peers in the team as needed.
- Collaboration with peers and managers on coordinating and standardizing operations.
- Maintain a good rapport with Marketing Managers and other stakeholders.
What you will need:
- 3-6 years of hands on MAP experience with Eloqua (preferred), or a comparable enterprise MAP
- Work experience with a collaborative, global organization
- Prior experience in managing a small team
- Experience in designing and managing automated campaigns, designing complex nurture programs, implementation of progressive profiling, using shared & dynamic content and integrating new technology
- Firm understanding of Google Analytics
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- HTML development skills (for responsively designed email and landing pages)
- Excellent MS Excel or Google Sheets and data handling skills with the ability to analyze campaign data and draw conclusions
- Strong MS PowerPoint or Google Slides and presentation compilation and delivery skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities
- Superior problem-solving ability and ability to think “outside the box.” Ability to form and test hypotheses with available data
