The Senior Digital Commerce Analyst will serve as the functional owner of Retail.com digital performance and non-Amazon retail media stewardship across key retailer partners including Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, and others.

This role serves as the functional owner of retailer-level digital activation, partnering closely with Commercial teams to support retailer goals through optimized digital shelf execution and retail media strategy. You will work in collaboration with Digital Performance and Analytics teams to apply established KPI frameworks, execute structured testing initiatives, and ensure retail media investments and digital content activation are aligned to business priorities.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of retail strategy, digital execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Retail.com Digital Performance & Activation (45%)

  • Own digital shelf performance across priority retailer accounts, supporting Commercial growth objectives.
  • Monitor retailer scorecards in partnership with Commercial team and drive structured content improvements to improve conversion and merchandising effectiveness.
  • Operationalize PDP optimizations aligned to established digital shelf standards and measurement frameworks.
  • Partner with Creative and Brand teams to enhance copy, imagery, video, and enhanced content.
  • Develop and apply standardized digital shelf best practices across retail partners while adapting for platform-specific nuances.
  • Support digital readiness for new product launches across retailer platforms.
  • Identify and activate retailer-specific digital merchandising opportunities in alignment with Commercial priorities.

Retail Media Strategy & Channel Stewardship (30%)

  • Lead planning and performance oversight for non-Amazon retail media networks (Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Orange Apron, etc.).
  • Develop retailer-specific media activation strategies aligned to brand and Commercial objectives.
  • Apply defined KPI hierarchies and measurement standards in campaign planning and evaluation.
  • Partner closely with Analytics to evaluate incrementality, campaign impact, and performance optimization opportunities.
  • Maintain active partnership with retail media networks, advocating for improved data transparency, testing opportunities, and measurement rigor.
  •  Execute structured test-and-learn initiatives in partnership with Digital Insights and Analytics.
  •  Oversee agency campaign execution and ensure alignment to KPIs and budget guardrails.
  • Lead retailer-level performance reviews and deliver actionable digital insights to stakeholders.

Insights & Cross-Functional Partnership (15%)

  • Translate retailer-level digital performance data into clear recommendations that support Commercial planning and retailer strategies.
  • Educate Commercial and Brand teams on retail media capabilities, limitations, and performance realities.
  • Craft compelling, executive-ready performance narratives that articulate what happened, why it matters, and how investment decisions should evolve.
  • Provide structured digital input into retailer planning processes and promotional initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Brand, Creative, and Analytics teams to align digital activation with business priorities.
  • Stay current on emerging retail media capabilities, competitive trends, and platform updates.

Oversight of Tactical Execution (10%)

  • Provide oversight and quality control across digital activations.
  • Ensure campaign setup, reporting pulls, and asset trafficking are executed by agency partners or Analyst-level support.
  • Maintain quality control across retail media activations and PDP updates.
  • Ensure digital initiatives are executed consistently across retailer partners.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of experience in Retail Media, eCommerce, or Digital Marketing.
  • Experience managing retail media networks such as Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Home Depot Orange Apron, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of retail search ecosystems and sponsored media.
  • Experience optimizing digital shelf performance and PDP content.
  • Experience collaborating with Analytics or Business Intelligence teams to translate campaign and retail performance into structured measurement insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Tableau, or similar tools preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
