Sureify is modernizing the life insurance industry through cutting-edge SaaS platforms that help carriers digitally engage, service, and sell to their customers. We’re growing fast and looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help scale and secure our cloud-native infrastructure.
What You’ll DoDesign, build, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and automation.
Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across multiple environments.
Support containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes) and drive best practices for reliability & performance.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks to enhance system uptime and incident response.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to strengthen platform architecture.
Troubleshoot complex issues across networking, systems, and application layers.
Mentor junior engineers and champion DevOps culture across the organization.
5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or SRE.
Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, GitHub/Git-based workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficient in scripting with Bash and/or Python.
Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, routing, subnets, load balancers).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
Kubernetes (EKS) experience.
Database experience (Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB).
Knowledge of security best practices, IAM governance, and cloud cost optimization.
Experience in regulated environments (insurance/finance/healthcare).
