We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer. This position requires an experienced professional with a solid background in AWS services, experience with Kubernetes, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical field
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, ECR, KMS, S3, and VPC.
- Experience in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Proficient in defining and implementing security best practices for infrastructure and applications.
- Strong understanding of version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, Kustomize, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.).
- Setup and maintenance of security and quality tools (e.g., SonarQube, Coverity).
- Experience with embedded Linux builds.
- Knowledge of build tools such as Yocto, Bitbake, Makefile, etc.
- Strong programming experience with one or more scripting languages.
- Experience in automating release and build processes.
- Experience with on-premises to cloud migration.
- Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset.
Good to Have:
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Application observability, including logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Familiarity with path-to-production workflows.
- Knowledge of DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) metrics and practices.
