iRobot leads the market in consumer robotics and smart home innovation, with cloud infrastructure that supports millions of connected devices worldwide. We're looking for an experienced, senior engineer to help maintain and modernize the systems our product development teams use to build, test, and release firmware, software and infrastructure code. This role will focus on CI/CD, build systems, deployment automation, developer tooling, and cloud infrastructure that support mobile applications, IoT device firmware, cloud services, and machine learning workflows.
The ideal candidate has significant experience maintaining and improving large-scale Jenkins environments while also bringing modern cloud-native practices and automation to engineering workflows. This person should be comfortable understanding existing build systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing reliable, scalable solutions that improve developer productivity and release quality.

What You Will Do:

  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines across mobile applications, Linux embedded systems and cloud services.
  • Support and modernize existing Jenkins infrastructure and build workflows.
  • Build next-generation deployment architectures that promote software consistently through development, test, staging, and production environments while ensuring deployment behavior is version-controlled, observable, and reproducible.
  • Manage and maintain engineering infrastructure such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and related systems.
  • Partner with mobile, firmware, and cloud teams to support their development processes.
  • Troubleshoot build, release, deployment, and infrastructure issues across the engineering organization.
  • Document systems and processes to improve maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Implement advanced tooling for automated testing, AI-assisted code evaluation, security validation, and code optimization
  • Automate workflows and pipelines to go from code repository to signed deployment with minimal intervention
  • Connect business tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, PagerDuty, Rapid 7, and more to enable continuous monitoring of build operations

To Be Successful You Will Have:

  • 7+ years designing end-to-end CI/CD and release architectures across development, test, staging, and production environments
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience designing, building and deploying infrastructure in Jenkins
  • Python and Node/ JavaScript proficiency
  • Extensive experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments
  • Experience with multiplatform mobile app tooling such as Flutter and Kotlin Multiplatform
  • Knowledge of multi-variant mobile build systems (internal, external, and production flavors), including bundle identifiers, signing configurations, and environment-specific behavior.
  • Proven ability to modernize legacy build and deployment platforms while maintaining operational continuity.
  • Preferred: experience at a consumer product company

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of any additional employment visas at this time.
