Position Purpose:
The Sr. Developer – Online Pricing is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of sophisticated competitive pricing models. This role sits at the intersection of Data Science, Engineering, and Business Strategy.
The successful candidate will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures, guiding project teams to deliver systems that empower executive leadership with real-time, data-driven strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% Define, plan and implement solutions on assigned moderately complex projects.
- 25% Take business requirements and develop the total technical design on moderately complex projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production.
- 20% Conduct appropriate test reviews for assigned projects and present to architecture review boards as necessary.
- 15% Promote and follow the established processes, policies, standards and procedures to assure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies and standards.
- 10% Provide technical direction to associate developers, developers and contractors.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization), Python/R (for modeling), and Tableau (data visualization).
- Previous experience in Retail, E-commerce, or FinTech, specifically dealing with high-volume transactional data.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Demonstrated experience leading project teams or mentoring mid-level developers in an agile environment.
