We are actively seeking an EBS Senior Developer. This is a remote position that can based anywhere in Brazil.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the EBS Sr. Developer is to ensure that our client systems comply with the various legal requirements published by legislative entities. The EBS engineer provides in-depth technical knowledge and skills to translate business specifications into systems with maximized usability and fast delivery. The EBS engineer should be able to access the technical impacts of requirements, participate in solution design, and offer test strategies and acceptance criteria for the scrum team in an agile environment. This role is vital in providing high-quality deliverables to our clients and keeping their mission-critical enterprise applications in compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

• Perform analysis and development to meet legislative requirements.

• Work with teams on testing and analysis tasks.

• Implement and document technical design and client facing documentation.

• Gain new knowledge through analysis, research, and testing.

• Communicate effectively across various teams.

• Be committed to excellence and quality.

• Work closely with all team members to ensure we meet the acceptance criteria and deliver a high-quality product.

Experience

• 10+ years of extensive design and development experience on Oracle EBS Financials and SCM product development or enhancement building.

• Technical proficiency in Oracle EBS product areas, i.e., AP, AR, GL, OM, Inventory, GL, etc.

• A track record of successful roles in several Enterprise Application projects (including full development and complete QA lifecycle processes).

• Knowledge of localizations: architecture, implementation, and key functionalities.

• Experience creating and reviewing detailed technical documentation and unit test plans.

• Experienced with administrative tools, i.e., Oracle AOL/FND

• Worked remotely in a virtual environment.

• Worked in Agile methodology.

Skills

• In-depth experience in PL/SQL, Oracle Report & BI Publisher, XML, and Java/OAF code development

• In-depth understanding of Oracle EBS data model/ Open Interfaces/ Public API and other standard extensions

• Knowledge of English: Effectively communicate with stakeholders in English. Must be able to attend meetings with participants from the US, UK, Australia, and India. Read and produce documentation in English.

• Desired knowledge of Spanish: able to attend meetings with participants from Latin American countries.

Education

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Location

• Remote, Brazil

Language

• Fluent Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
