Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules based on project requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the team members.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing scope.
- Establish and enforce testing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Coordinate testing activities including test case creation, review, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure timely completion of testing phases within project timelines.
- Oversee the management of testing tools, environments, and resources.
- Monitor and improve testing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for automation and develop and execute automation test cases for both new requirements and existing regression suites.
- Comprehend the objectives of Non-Functional Testing and develop a suitable strategy accompanied by an actionable plan.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and in Investment Banking Domain
- Experience working in Cash equities front Office Application testing, OMS/EMS working experience
- Troubleshooting skills using UNIX, SQL and FIX. Basic Operational knowledge for logs checking and writing basic DB queries
- Technical Background with ability to contribute to the Automation frameworks and scripting/ Maintenance of automated test pack
- Good Understanding of Unix, webservers, giga spaces, Middleware Technologies
- Experience in working on agile/devops model
- Good team player. Capable of working under a fast pace and dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
