Title:
Sr. Designer - ProcessKBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Process CAD (SPPID) Technician to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.
The Process CAD (SPPID) Technician will work with the Process Engineering team to create electronic design plans for the OLNG facility using computer software. This role will turn blueprints & technical drawings into 2D & 3D computer models while working with the support of the larger project team.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with engineers, draftsmen, & designers to review blueprints & design drawings
- Input design specifications into the CAD (SPPID) software
- Create surface & solid CAD (SPPID) models according to the project & client specifications
- Review the CAD (SPPID) models with the project team and make any required adjustments
- Deliver final product
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience
- LNG facility design experience a plus
- Advanced knowledge of SPPID & AutoCAD software, and at least two projects with SPPID software and database
- Ability to read & translate blueprints & technical drawings
- Understanding of LNG design & mechanical processes
