Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Designer to join our pipeline engineering and mechanical design team. The ideal candidate will have a degree or 2+ years of CAD experience, with a focus on supporting natural gas pipeline and facility projects. In this role, you will develop engineering drawings using 3D modeling, ensuring accurate dimensions and layouts. Your responsibilities will include interpreting photos, as-built drawings, civil surveys, and engineering sketches to create drawing packages for project construction.
Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate engineering drawings for natural gas pipelines and facilities using CAD software.
• Interpret photos, civil surveys, as-built drawings, and engineering sketches to develop detailed drawing packages.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure drawings align with project requirements.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Degree in a related field or 2+ years of CAD experience.
• Strong skills in 3D modeling and CAD software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
• For Senior Designer consideration:
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical degree.
  • 3-4 years of experience in gas pipeline engineering, operations, or construction.
  • Equivalent work experience of 6+ years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
