Join a passionate and innovative team dedicated to delivering best-in-class off-road vehicle ride and handling. As a Senior Design Engineer on the vehicle dynamics team, you will lead the design and development of brake, suspension, and steering subsystems/components to meet performance, durability, manufacturing, service and safety targets of the vehicle. This role is instrumental in shaping the ride, handling, and overall vehicle dynamics of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and release of brake, suspension, and steering subsystems and components using advanced CAD tools.
  • Apply engineering judgment, simulation, and test data to develop robust and high-performing vehicle sub-systems.
  • Conduct basic durability and system-level analyses to ensure long-term reliability of each subsystem.
  • Support and participate in vehicle-level performance testing and data collection to validate subsystem targets.
  • Architect subsystem designs in collaboration with interfacing teams to ensure seamless vehicle integration and performance alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, service, and supplier teams to deliver optimized solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues related to braking performance, ride quality, and steering response through sub-system design.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in vehicle development, with a focus on brake, suspension, or steering systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (e.g., Creo, ANSYS, Adams Car).
  • Solid understanding of automotive systems and vehicle dynamics fundamentals.
  • Strong technical leadership and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance or repair is a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to operate off-road vehicles is required; experience with ATVs, snowmobiles, or motorcycles is highly preferred.
  • The preferred location is Wyoming, MN.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $93,000 to $123,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.  While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range. 

To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
