A position has opened in Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) for an ambitious Senior Demand Planning Professional. You will report to the Global SIOP Director for HBS, with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your planning skills and play an instrumental role in the success of the company.
As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and aligning volume & revenue forecasts within the Projects & Services based business HBS North Americas (~$1.4B). You will ensure that regional sales forecasts are visible, planned and supported through the supply chain. You will drive delivering high customer satisfaction, improving inventory, and reduced working capital year over year. You will also serve as the primary analyst for Global HBS and work directly with the Global SIOP Director to support GDM (Global Design Model) execution.
This position will interface with Regional General Management, Sales Leadership and Operations organizations, utilizing statistics, sales projects, and market intelligence to develop a rolling 18-month SKU level demand plan. This position is the linkage between sales forecasting, marketing programs and manufacturing, bringing closer alignment to the Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze Salesforce Pipeline for incoming Projects & Services orders to prepare supply chain to support customer needs
- Create baseline demand plan converting sales plans to unit production requirements and benchmarking against demand plan
- acilitate regional demand planning meetings with direct interaction and input from sales and general management
- Provide proactive professional gap analysis of demand, financial, and supply plans
- Process data, consolidate opportunities into a comprehensive forecast, and present regular reports on key performance metrics
- Guide the team in making data-backed decisions and improvements in the demand & SIOP process
- Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions to continually improve demand quality
- Provide relentless, professional 3-step feedback loop on monthly basis (demand plan vs incoming order rates vs plant shipments)
- Lead corrective action on behalf of regional Sales Inventory & Operations Planning team for demand plan accuracy, sales forecast accuracy, and supply chain execution
- Partner with SIOP process team and supply planners to facilitate maximum customer satisfaction, stakeholder satisfaction and financial performance

- 5+ years of planning, materials, sourcing, or other related supply chain experience
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing teams.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Strong process orientation and experience in planning
- Advanced MS Office skills with proficiency in Excel
