In this role, you will:

  • Lead the demand planning team and work closely with sales/marketing and suppliers to define optimal stock replenishment plan for all categories.

  • Lead S&OP process as per K-C gold standard.

  • Ensure appropriate inventory level and maximize the fill rate for our customers.

  • Plan, manage and execute the bonus pack production.

  • Manage System Operation (FTS, Arete & OTC) to ensure good system performance and support business needs and drive for system enhancement.

  • Lead & participate the regional Procurement & Supply Chain initiatives and projects.

  • Drive and streamline the local operation.

  • Continuously benchmark Demand planning process and drive gap/ excellence through gold standard S&OP steps

  • Drive digitalisation projects mainly related to E-com forecasting process

  • Help sales to solve all supply issues and cooperate with sales/TMKT team closely to improve Forecast.

  • Accuracy and achieve a high service level with optimized inventory. Smoothly communicate with Sales Logistics, Mill operations, Marketing teams to provide better product supply service for internal and external customers. Optimize company working capital through effective inventory management to support company fast growth.

In one of our Manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • MBA (Specialization in Logistics & Operation) from a NITIE/ Premier B School / Graduate preferred

  • Manage the end to end supply chain processes which include the inventory strategy, demand planning, supply strategy & distribution strategy

  • Work closely with customer service team to maximize order fulfillment & improve the service level

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize the demand projection and transform the latest demand into the replenishment plan.

  • Work with cross functional team to lead the new product launch or new category launch with clear short-term & long-term goals.

  • Drive and facilitate the monthly demand review meeting, deliverables compliant to S&OP processes

  • Constantly review and report the slow moving and obsolete products to Sales & Marketing teams for action calling.

  • Partner with the supplying affiliates to smooth out the supplying problems and simplify & automate the operations. Drive to deliver all the supply chain KPI.

  • Co-ordinate & provide guideline to procurement on goods & service e.g. 3 P sourcing, import, special materials

  • Conduct the competition, portfolio demand and cost analysis for various initiatives for the product categories to establish emerging trends & drive actions

  • Manage System Operation (FTS, APO & OTC) for any issues and support business needs to drive for system enhancement

  • Manage the demand planning team’s performance and responsible for people development and engagement.

  • Assist the supply chain head to design, formulate, and execute the improvement initiatives for the local working processes.

  • Assist SC head for long term capacity planning & footprint analysis, source vs. produce analysis along with marketing, finance & operations.

  • Ensure the RTC & FTS are all compliant to the company’s policy & procedures

  • Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function in discussion with sales & marketing functions

  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.

  • Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.

  • Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.

  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.

  • Use and maintain the Demand Planning tools as the primary forecasting system tool.

  • Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.

  • Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply planning

  • Inventory Management

  • Track slow moving inventory and inform about goods likely to expire to sales head for taking extra steps for liquidation

  • Production plan validation

  • Dispatch and logistics manageme

  • Create base forecast based on historical sales data (primary and secondary) and market intelligence

  • Assimilate and collate bottom up forecasts from Regional Teams for each Cluster/ Division

  • Discuss base forecast and bottom up forecasts with sales & marketing team and develop consensus forecast

  • Upload consensus forecast in required templates/ tools and share with Supply Planning Team

  • Ensure hygiene and maintenance of master data (inventory norms, transit lead time, outdated forecasts / orders, potential expiry / expired stock, unwanted sales orders / open deliveries, NPL indicators) Actively Participate in pre-S&OP and S&OP process and meetings and ensure adherence to stated Timelines
