We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and scale robust data solutions in cloud environments. You will be responsible for building and optimizing our data pipelines, modeling data structures, and ensuring that data flows securely, reliably, and efficiently across multiple systems and teams.

• Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures in cloud environments (AWS), applying patterns like Lambda Architecture and domain-driven designs.
• Model data across conceptual, logical, and physical levels, using tools such as dbt and ER modeling tools, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and architectural compliance.
• Develop and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines using Airflow, Kafka, and Spark, integrating multiple data sources with low latency and high availability.
• Build and manage data platforms (Data Lakes, Warehouses, Lakehouses) using technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, and Delta Lake, optimizing for both performance and cost.
• Orchestrate and automate data workflows with Databricks, Airflow, or equivalent orchestration tools, applying best practices in modularization, versioning (Git), and active monitoring.
• Implement layered data security measures including encryption, RBAC, data masking, and auditing, leveraging tools like Ranger and IAM.
• Document data flows, architecture standards, and technical decisions; advocate for and mentor peers in adopting best engineering practices.

• Solid hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) in data engineering and architecture roles.

• Strong background in data modeling and experience with dbt, ER modeling tools, and SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of batch and streaming data processing frameworks (Airflow, Kafka, Spark).
• Proficient in managing data storage solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, and Delta Lake.
• Experience with orchestration and CI/CD pipelines (Airflow, Databricks, Git).
• Deep understanding of data security principles and governance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, technical leadership, and cross-functional communication abilities.
