Sr. Data Engineer – Supply Chain Analytics

The Global M&S Services acts as a cornerstone to this effort. Our team is responsible for delivering and supporting Global M&S teams in the area of regulatory compliance, maintenance of product licenses and technical writing of CMC documents. The team members of the global M&S Services Hub will act as partners in carrying out tasks and fulfilling responsibilities to support global quality activities with a focus on technical writing.

• Building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes: Ensuring data is efficiently extracted, transformed, and loaded from various sources

• Managing data storage and ensuring data quality: Overseeing databases and data warehouses to maintain high data quality

• Developing and maintaining databases and data warehouses: Creating and managing the infrastructure for data storage

• Collaborating with data scientists and analysts: Working closely with other data professionals to understand business requirements and provide data solutions

• Writing scripts and code to automate data processes: Using programming languages to streamline data workflows

• Experience: 7-10 years of experience in data engineering domain.

• Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Leadership / Provide support to the rest of the team.

• Technical skills: Proficiency in programming languages: Knowledge of languages like Python, R, or Scala. SQL and relational databases: Hands-on in writing SQL code and experience with relational databases. Cloud platforms: Experience with cloud services such as Snowflake, AWS or Azure. Git repository / version controlling familiar in working with git repository / version controlling platform. Workflows orchestration/monitoring: experience of working with Airflow tool to programmatically author, schedule, and monitor workflows.

• Education: Engineering/B.Tech/M.Tech Degree.

• Languages: Verbal and written fluency in English​
