Job Description

In this role, you will leverage your prior experience and industry-standard best practices to analyze cross-functional data and provide insights to business teams with key responsibilities in below area

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar.
• Experience: 5+ years of documented experience in writing strong SQL and PLSQL in data warehouse technologies with a minimum of 5+ years in Snowflake.
• Deep Knowledge on Clustering and Partitioning, Materialized Views, Time Travel and Fail-safe,Data Sharing and Data Marketplace, Streams and Tasks

Query Optimization Techniques, Snowpipe, Advanced Data Security Features, Advanced User Management and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Advanced API and Integration Techniques [Apache Kafka, ETL tools (e.g., Matillion, Fivetran), and BI tools using Snowflake's native connectors and third-party APIs.]

• Cloud Awareness - Implement and manage data solutions on Cloud Platforms, primarily on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, including cloud data pipeline/near-real-time/batch loads/flow orchestration.
• Data Observability to understand the health and performance of data pipelines in real-time.
• Strong in building data pipelines, database design & development, writing optimized queries, handling Facts and dimension data effectively.
• Experience in ad-hoc data analysis and solution design
• Adhere to framework standards on scalability, restart ability, error logging, and manageability
• Strong in Star Schema / Dimensional Modelling, able to implement a solution, and convert existing logical to physical data models.
• GenAI Readiness - Awareness of GenAI and Models, Use Synthetic Data, and relevant data structures to train models.
• Strong understanding of ML Platforms ( Azure / Databricks)
• Ability to write complex SQL scripts, perform query tuning, and benchmarking.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language (e.g., Python), including SQL skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work individually and in a broader geographically dispersed team.
