Sr. Data Engineer

✨ What will you be doing?

• Construct the data architecture and implement solutions to meet Finalis' needs and requirements.

• Develop and optimize data pipelines to ingest into Snowflake, ensuring efficient and accurate data flow.

• Monitor and maintain users and pipelines, ensuring data integrity and system performance.

• Collaborate with analysts to capture business requirements and build an enterprise data model.

• Drive the implementation of data governance, architecture, and negotiation skills.

• Work with the BI Lead to align with long-term goals and deliver quick wins for added value.

The Data Engineer reports to the Business Intelligence Lead

💬 Who are we looking for

• You have exceptional written and spoken English.

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.

• You have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.

• You have strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining, particularly in Snowflake or similar platforms (i.e: AWS S3/Redshift)

• You have proficiency in ELT and ETL processes; familiarity with dbt is a plus.

• You have expertise in data architecture, governance, and strong negotiation skills.

• You have excellent communication skills, excellent organizational, teamwork and analytical abilities.

• You have strong organizational skills and outstanding problem solving skills.

• You can handle confidential information.

• You are a self-starter, quick learner and highly organized with attention to detail.

• You have the ability to follow up; know what's going on at all times and respond quickly.

• You are flexible, patient, persistent and have a team spirit attitude.
