In this role, you will:

  • Senior Data & Analytics Finance Techno-Functional Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions within the SAP S/4HANA Finance modules and data lake driven Analytics.

  • This role involves both functional and technical expertise (60% Functional & 40% Technical) to ensure the effective understanding of SAP financial processes, data lake principles, along with strong Agile project management skills to oversee and drive project success.

  • Additionally, experience with Snowflake data lake solutions is required to manage and integrate financial data effectively.

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into requirements. Conduct detailed analysis of financial processes to identify areas for improvement.

  • Implementation and Integration: Lead or participate in Data Lake based implementation projects.

  • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules, external systems, and Snowflake data lake solutions.

  • Testing and Validation: Experience defining and executing test plans to ensure the accuracy and functionality of Data Lake based analytic solutions. Ensure effective debugging and troubleshooting to resolve issues.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements. Stay updated with the latest SAP and Snowflake technologies and best practices.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure user documentation and training materials are delivered. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Deliver financial analytics that provide insights for decision-making.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes, and how they relate to material management and sales & distribution.

  • Understanding of important reporting statements like Profit & Loss, Working Capital, Free Cash Flow and Balance Sheet.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, FI-GL, CO, COPA, MM, SD).

  • Strong understanding of Data Lake development principles.

  • Utilize Snowflake’s capabilities to consolidate structured and semi-structured data for analytics and reporting.

  • Integrate and manage financial data within Snowflake data lake solutions.

  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within the Snowflake environment.

  • Proven experience in leading successful Data Lake implementation projects using Agile methodologies.

  • Strong Agile project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

  • Ability to manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and practices.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

  • Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and previous versions.

  • Knowledge of finance-related compliance and regulatory requirements.

  • Familiarity with divestiture or M&A work related to SAP Financials.
