Overview
BIF team, part of the Research & Development group in Trend Micro, developed a solid data foundation in the past few years and mainly provides various BI analytics to the management team on making the right decisions across company directions and enabling self-service data analytics to empower different functional teams to build their reports, dashboards. Responsibility
- Understand the business context and use statistical models or similar techniques to analyze and interpret commercial customer growth, customer churn, product performance, and customer behaviors to the leadership team and management team.
- Use data visualization tools (i.e. tableau, ADX dashboard, PowerBI) to create business dashboards for management teams that effectively communicate business performance, trends, patterns cross sales revenue, product usage, and customer data with actionable business insight.
- Proactively analyze the data to answer key data questions for the leadership team and management team and define/create metrics to track business performance.
- Work closely with different functional groups, such as the product management group, sales operation group, the field teams to understand business cases and develop required metrics to address business needs.
Qualification/Requirement
- At least 3+ years of working experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
- 2+ years of practical experience in full dashboard development lifecycle from gathering business requirements, and design solutions via developing code/reports based on business needs, to testing, validating, and releasing.
- Experience on Azure Data Explorer, connect Azure Data Explorer with Power BI to generate reports.
- Experience with SQL Server DB, loading data from SQL Server DB to Tableau to generate reports.
- Familiarity with Kusto Query Language (KQL) or similar database query language for manipulating data.
- Familiarity with Power BI dataflows, data modeling, DAX queries, and level security.
- A strong analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good sense of understanding business data and a strong passion for learning both data domains and business domains.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Fast learner / collaborative/open-minded.
- Fluent English speaking/reading/writing skills.
