We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our D&A team at Equifax Workforce Solutions. In this role, you will be a key player in transforming data into actionable business insights. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, develop compelling data visualizations, and provide data-driven recommendations that will inform strategic decisions.

Candidates must be eligible for a DoD security clearance and must be able to obtain and maintain this clearance throughout employment.

This role requires being in the office 3 days/week on Tues - Thurs.

What you’ll do

  • Works in Data and Analytics to independently design projects to meet business needs
  • Leverage advanced techniques to create code that is optimized, efficient, repeatable and scalable
  • Use analytical insights to develop solutions, improved processes and work with counterparts in the business to implement proposed solutions
  • Understand ingestion prioritizations, analyze, understand and prepare complex and new data sources and incorporate them into project design. Acts as a domain and/or technical lead to more junior members
  • Package, summarize, visualize and perform storytelling on analytical findings and results for management and business users
  • Solve complex internal or customer analytical problems across various business domains and areas of expertise
  • Ability to talk to impact and strategic importance of findings on the business (either Equifax or external customer) and recommend appropriate course of action; ability to advocate to implementation of solutions and improved processes as well as share the qualitative and quantitative elements to drive value and share the "so what' out of the analysis being performed. 
  • Ensure proper use of Equifax data assets by working closely with data governance and compliance professionals

What experience you need 
 

  • BS degree in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics or related discipline.

  • 5-7 years of experience in a related analyst role

  • Expertise in SQL and ETL

  • Cloud certification strongly preferred

  • Technical capabilities including BigQuery, Python, Google Sheets, Tableau

  • Experience working as a team and collaborating with others on producing descriptive and diagnostic analysis. Experience working with non-technical partners to explore new capabilities and data monetization opportunities.

  • Experience in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem and Vertex AI.

  • Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and statistical analysis and experience developing ML models.

  • Ability to create impactful slide decks and communicate complex findings in a simple, clear, and engaging manner for any audience.
