Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for the data analytics of the negotiation factory. This individual will be generating custom reports, maintenance activities for the tools used and to support projects and will be accountable for the project's critical metrics and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, model, and analyze data in support of sourcing strategies and supplier business reviews.
- Develop monthly/quarterly standard direct and indirect reporting and analysis.
- Automate required reporting from data warehouses and data lakes.
- Data maintenance activities of different tools / databases.
- Maintain Procurement Excellence PowerBI dashboards and look for ways to drive improvements to meet customer needs.
- Serve as ‘super user’ for tools assigned, providing training, admin support such as new users/access, maintenance, process improvement, etc.
- Support opportunity identification and analysis based on risk assessments.
- Support ad hoc data and analytics requests and consolidation
Candidate Experience, Qualifications and Characteristics:
- Advanced analytics skills required – the ability to collect/interpret data to drive procurement decisions (Excel expert, experience with Power BI and Tableau necessary)
- Expertise in statistical and financial models
- Experience with translational databases and coding
- Sourcing, risk mitigation and Supply Chain knowledge is preferred
- Experience with workflow management tools (i.e. QuickBase) – Nice to have
- Project management skills with demonstrated ability to take initiative, track and manage own deadlines, drive projects to completion
- Highly analytical with solid attention to detail; will work closely with data providers and category leaders to achieve high data accuracy and provide insights
- Creative problem solver who looks for ways to improve processes, visualizations of data, etc.
- Clear communicator who maintains a high level of professionalism with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Science, Data Management, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data management and analysis
- Experience with data collection and in coordinating efforts of multiple groups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of English language proficiency (verbal and written)
