About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer with a strong background in Cybersecurity. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our security operations, implementing our secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), creating and reviewing security policies, and managing vulnerabilities.
What you will do:
Security Operations: Monitor and respond to security incidents, conduct threat and risk analyses, and participate in the incident response items. Managed access entitlements and data security detection rules and alerts.
Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC): Work closely with the development team to ensure that security is considered at every stage of the software development lifecycle. This includes conducting code reviews, vulnerability assessments (SAST/SCA), and penetration testing (DAST).
Security Policy Creation and Review: Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide security policies and procedures. Regularly review and update these policies to ensure they reflect the current threat landscape and comply with relevant regulations and standards. Review SaaS Productivity suite security and update relevant policies.
Vulnerability Management: Identify, classify, prioritize, and mitigate security vulnerabilities. This includes coordinating with different teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner and conducting regular vulnerability scans and assessments.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of security awareness across the organization. Help drive security projects across the IT landscape.
What you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security operations and secure software development.
Strong knowledge of current security threats, techniques, and landscape, and a dedicated and self-driven desire to research current information security landscape.
Strong understanding of Compliance and Risk frameworks.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and how to secure them.
Familiarity with VMware security and access controls.
Familiarity with Active Directory core infrastructure security.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical staff.
A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.
