The Role

Position Summary:

The Senior Customer Insights Analyst will be responsible for enabling deep visibility into how our customers are utilizing the products and services they’ve purchased. This role requires a strong analytical background, experience working in or with car dealerships, and a deep understanding of CDK products. The individual will work closely with the product team and success leadership to identify key KPIs per product, ensuring these metrics are accessible and actionable to inform business decisions. Additionally, the analyst will manage APIs and data integrations, including systems like Snowflake, as a core responsibility for effective product utilization metrics collection and analysis. 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product utilization data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. 
  • Collaborate with product teams and success leadership to identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for each product. 
  • Ensure KPIs are measurable, relevant, and aligned with business goals. 
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations that offer clear visibility into product utilization across the customer base. 
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to understand customer pain points and product challenges. 
  • Leverage data to inform customer success strategies aimed at improving satisfaction and retention. 
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure data-driven insights are integrated into product development and go-to-market strategies. 
  • Manage and maintain APIs and data integrations necessary for pulling product utilization metrics into Totango. 
  • Ensure data integrations are seamless, reliable, and optimized for real-time insights. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in automotive dealership management. 
  • Apply this knowledge to inform data analysis and business recommendations. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or product insights role. 
  • Direct experience working in or with car dealerships 
  • Deep understanding of CDK’s products and services 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. 
  • Familiar with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills. 
  • Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and familiarity with data warehousing concepts and systems like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks is essential. 
  • Solid understanding of APIs and data integration processes, with hands-on experience in managing these systems. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus. 
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity. 
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently and collaboratively. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning. 

Salary Range: $89,000 to $102,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
