Job Summary

We are seeking a senior level customer engineer or system architect with focus in datacenter, AI and communication markets. Successful candidate should be passionate about connecting with customers, understanding system level needs, gaining market trend insights and solving timing challenges. In this highly technical role, you will deliver design-win and revenue growth by owning pre-sale and post-sale technical activities at assigned accounts. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Expected Results:

• Trusted advisor at key customers
  • Establish and maintain deep technical relationships with system architects and technical leadership
  • Serve as the primary timing expert, influencing architectural decisions and gaining early visibility into future design opportunities
• Consistent delivery of design-wins and revenue growth
  • Convert identified opportunities into qualified design-wins by architecting optimal SiTime solutions
  • Drive technical closure of all pre-sale and post-sale blockers to ensure successful adoption and production ramp
• System-level adoption of SiTime solutions
  • Lead clock tree and system architecture discussions that position SiTime as the preferred solution
  • Expand SiTime footprint within customer platforms by identifying and capturing additional sockets
• Increased sales effectiveness through technical enablement
  • Develop and deliver targeted technical content, tools, and training that enable sales to independently identify and progress opportunities
  • Improve quality and velocity of inbound support request through structured enablement
• Customer-driven roadmap influence
  • Translate customer requirements, system trends, and competitive insights into actionable inputs for product roadmap and strategy
  • Drive alignment across product, marketing, and engineering to support long-term revenue growth 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 10+ years of applications and design engineering experience in datacenter, AI, networking or telecom
• Proven track record of establishing deep technical relationships with system designs and architects
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technical solutions to customer needs
• Strategic thinker with the ability to debug and solve complex technical issues for customers in applications such as high speed SERDES, compute, and communication systems
• Deep understanding of time synchronization architectures and systems
• Knowledge of industry standards such as GR-1244, IEEE1588/PTP, NPT, GPS/GNSS, G.8262 preferred
• Hand-on experience with timing measurement instrumentation desirable
