POSITION SUMMARY:
The Omni Product Strategy pillar of the Business Strategies team will be responsible for the development of pre-season strategies and execution plans pertaining to Aerie, Inc. product.  They will collaborate with Creative, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Store Experience, etc. to ensure that all needs are met for each seasonal set. This pillar will be the experts in the Aerie, Inc. omni product assortment & strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

PRE-SEASON

  • Partners with CFT to support digital strategies through section images, trend shops, guides, etc. 
  • Manages projects as needed to inform future strategies (i.e. Influencer gifting, PR editor gifts, Social giveaways, etc.)
  • Owns creation of Store Associate training materials in partnership with Merchandising and Store Experience team 
  • Supports Sr. Manager with prep materials for all Product Milestone meetings 
  • Supports Sr. Manager with strategic Seasonal Brief and Seasonal Architecture doc upkeep
  • Attends pre-season Site Staging meetings to ensure all imagery and equity are accurate 
  • Partners with CFT & TNA peer to build the seasonal creative and digital executional timelines 
  • Contributes to Seasonal CFT Meetings to deliver product plans for OMNI execution
  • Oversees entire Photoshoot process in partnership with Styling to build key looks that Leadership will approve
  • Owns photoshoot sample management and shoot plan documentation
  • Attends photoshoot model fittings as liaison between Merchandising, Design and Styling  
  • Partners with Creative and Studio teams to conduct supplemental studio shoots as needed (including trend shoots, guides, chase items, aerie Speaks surveys, etc.)
  • Attends Store Walk-Thrus to ensure product priorities are translated through all formats and partners with Store Marketing teams to request appropriate signage / marketing elements to support product needs
  • Manages Holiday GWPs from conception to delivery in Stores

IN-SEASON

  • Contributes to Webset & Email digital planning on outbound marketing product priorities and trend
  • Ensures accuracy of all customer facing digital touch-points pertaining to product through the Art Review Process 
  • Attends Monday Business Meetings, Executional Downloads, MPC and Virtual Selling Reviews to stay on the forefront of business trends & product selling 
  • Leads Weekly Studio TB, Biweekly Social TB and Monthly Store Experience TB

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent required
  • 6+ years prior buying experience from a specialty or department store
  • Passionate individuals will be most successful in this and future roles
  • Keen sense of fashion exhibited through personal taste
  • Understanding of designer fashion and how to interpret seasonal stories / messages for the Aerie, Inc. customer
  • Excellent analytical and creative skills – will build creative solutions and plans that meet objectives and maximize impact
  • Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy — coolness and composure under strain, confidence without arrogance
  • Risk Taker – considers risk / reward, ready to try new ways of doing things to improve learning

  • Travel is required (to NYC)
  • High degree of proficiency Google, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Figma, & Internet applications such as Monday.com
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, ability to prioritize deadlines and reporting

PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION:

  • Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
