Sr. Contracts Specialist

What You'll Do
- Lead review, drafting, negotiation, and risk analysis of complex customer-facing agreements, bid/RFx terms, amendments, SOWs, order documents, and related exceptions. Align positions with Company policy and coordinate approvals with Legal, Finance, Risk, Security, Privacy, Sales, Pricing, Operations, Service, and other stakeholders.
- Design commercially executable contract structures for complex solutions, including hardware, managed print or device services, professional services, software, cloud/SaaS, funding or leasing, affiliates, vendors, and subcontractors. Translate terms into pricing, ordering, billing, invoicing, implementation, reporting, and revenue-recognition requirements.
- Administer awarded contracts throughout the lifecycle. Prepare contract briefs, launch and train stakeholders, maintain records and obligation controls, support amendments and renewals, resolve interpretation or performance issues, and escalate material risks with recommended solutions.
- Serves as subject-matter advisor and cross-functional project lead for public-sector, education, federal, cooperative/GPO, and enterprise commercial programs. Build relationships with customers and partners and support complex sales opportunities with practical, business-oriented guidance.
- Improves templates, playbooks, intake, workflow, reporting, knowledge management, and quality controls. Use Microsoft 365 and approved Copilot capabilities responsibly to increase efficiency, consistency, collaboration, and insight, while validating outputs and protecting confidential information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business, contact management, legal studies (or JD, but not necessary to pass a bar exam to practice law), public administration, finance or related field or equivalent
- Preferred: CPCM, CFCM, WorldCC, PMP, paralegal, procurement, or related contract/commercial certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract negotiation and interpretation and a combination of the following
areas.- Advanced contract drafting, redlining, negotiation, interpretation, obligation management, and lifecycle administration.
- Demonstrated experience with complex customer agreements, RFx terms, SOWs, amendments, ordering documents, vendor/subcontractor agreements, and funding or leasing structures.
- Working knowledge of state, local, education, federal, cooperative purchasing, GPO, and enterprise commercial contracting environments.
- Ability to design integrated commercial structures involving hardware, managed services, professional services, software, cloud or SaaS licensing, data use, information security, and third-party partners.
- Strong business acumen in pricing, revenue recognition, order-to-cash, billing, invoicing, implementation, reporting, and operational controls.
- Skilled in risk identification, issue escalation, policy analysis, fact-based recommendations, stakeholder facilitation, and executive-ready communication.

- Salary Range: $85K to $105K depending on experience
