Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sr OPEX Consultant to join our team. This role is critical in transforming raw supply chain data into actionable insights that drive operational improvements and inform strategic decisions for both operations and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundational knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics, coupled with expertise in data extraction, analysis, and visualization. You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and service enhancement across our supply chain network.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and organize complex supply chain data from various sources, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Data Lake, etc. utilizing SQL and other data manipulation tools.
- Develop and maintain robust dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Alteryx, to provide real-time visibility into operational performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain processes, identifying trends, anomalies, and root causes of operational inefficiencies.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and support strategic ad-hoc analysis projects for senior leadership, providing data-driven insights to guide critical business decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, including operations, IT, and finance, to understand business needs and deliver relevant analytical solutions.
- Present data, insights, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and operational changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Preferred Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt
- 8 + years of proven experience in supply chain analytics, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and manipulation from large datasets preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in using data visualization and manipulation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Alteryx to create impactful dashboards and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel Expectations: Up to 25%
