Summary:
In this role, you will leverage subject matter expertise, advanced analytical capabilities, and client relationship skills to deliver consulting engagements that drive measurable performance improvement for healthcare clients. You will interpret complex financial and operational data, translate findings into strategic recommendations, and develop and execute project plans that achieve engagement objectives. You will lead defined projects and workstreams, advise mid- to senior-level client leaders, support less experienced consultants, and contribute to sales, intellectual capital, and practice development efforts.
Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced financial and operational analyses to identify performance improvement opportunities and translate findings into actionable strategic recommendations.
Develop and execute project plans that achieve defined schedules, budgets, contractual deliverables, and expected value using established project management methodologies.
Lead defined consulting projects and workstreams independently or in collaboration with cross-functional project teams.
Facilitate client meetings and discussions and present findings and recommendations to vice presidents and other senior client leaders.
Manage mid- to senior-level client relationships, expectations, and requests to support engagement satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Provide guidance to less experienced consultants on data interpretation, analytical approaches, and effective storytelling.
Respond to client requests involving data analysis, strategy development, performance improvement, and coaching.
Identify potential expansion opportunities and collaborate with senior project team members to support sales and client growth efforts.
Develop and enhance consulting products, services, tools, methodologies, and intellectual capital while sharing leading practices and deliverables across the team.
Monitor engagement budgets, project performance, and client chargeable hours to support financial and operational objectives.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred.
5 or more years of relevant experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred; master’s degree preferred.
Experience in healthcare consulting or healthcare purchased services or support services required.
Experience coordinating or managing projects and applying project management methodologies required.
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and develop actionable recommendations.
Excellent facilitation, presentation, storytelling, and written and verbal communication skills with senior client audiences.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects within complex, cross-functional environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
