Sr. Communications Specialist
Job Description Summary
The Sr. Communications Specialist role is an execution-based role with a focus on internal communications, event logistics, and associate engagement activities. This individual will closely partner with multiple teams to coordinate updates back to the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and quick learner who can juggle multiple priorities, will proactively make connections with partners across the business, has excellent Microsoft suite skills and can make decisions even when there are areas of ambiguity.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Client Communications support
- Align with overarching department priorities
- Update plans of action live on calls
- Assist in coordination with communications as needed
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate information is available
- Partner with Corp Comms for accurate updates across the organization
- Create and maintain a landing page that provides monthly updates for leaders and associates
- Assis in drafting and reviewing content
- Onsite meeting logistics
- Support and assist organizing / executing planned events
- Secure appropriate rooms for attendees and technology needs
- Coordinate catering if necessary
- Photo Capture
- Obtain photos from onsite projects and construction efforts
- Capture live footage of on-going project work to share with associates via Viva Engage
- Gain real-live testimonials from associates
- Signage
- Draft onsite signage as needed. Ex. “under construction”, closed spaces, etc.
- Coordinate signage review with corp. comm, project team, and print team
- Display needed signage onsite
