As a Sr Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication needs of the HR Services team within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing communication strategies and materials that effectively convey HR initiatives, policies, and programs to employees and stakeholders.

You will report directly to our Director, Operational Excellence and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact employee engagement and awareness by delivering clear, consistent, and timely communications that support HR services and business objectives across Honeywell Aerospace. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication plans to support HR Services initiatives and programs.
  • Create and manage internal communication materials including newsletters, emails, presentations, and intranet content.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  • Support change management communications related to HR policies and processes.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness and gather feedback to continuously improve HR communications. 
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of experience in communications, preferably supporting HR or corporate functions.
  • Strong knowledge of communication strategy development and execution within a corporate environment.
  • Expertise in creating engaging internal communication content tailored to diverse employee audiences.
  • Proficiency with communication tools and platforms such as intranet content management systems, email marketing software, and presentation tools.
  • Experience collaborating with HR teams and understanding of HR policies and processes to effectively translate complex information into clear messaging.

Skills Required
