When you join Honeywell Technologies, you become part of a global team of thinkers, innovators, dreamers, and doers who are shaping the future. The Communications & Events Manager plays a critical role on the Corporate and Functions Communications Team, partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver compelling, strategic communications and high-impact employee engagement experiences that drive awareness, alignment and action across the enterprise.

Honeywell’s Corporate and Functions Communications team is seeking a Senior Manager, CEO Communications to join our team in Charlotte, NC and work on a hybrid schedule. This role reports to the Vice President, Communications, Corporate and Functions.

This role serves as a key strategic partner to the Vice President, helping drive the full breadth of written and digital communications content for the CEO’s portfolio. This is a high-output role that demands exceptional writing craft, sharp editorial instincts, and the ability to translate the CEO’s vision and Honeywell’s enterprise growth strategy into compelling communications that resonate with employees at every level of the organization.

This role works in close partnership with enterprise communications, SBG communications, regional communicators, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with Honeywell’s enterprise strategy. Critically, this role operates in lockstep with the Manager, CEO Events, serving as the communications engine behind the CEO events portfolio — providing scripts, talking points, messaging, and content that bring CEO moments to life.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the CEO’s written communications portfolio end to end, including internal announcements, performance updates, leadership emails, messaging frameworks, and talking points — producing polished, on-strategy content with speed and precision.
  • Drive the creation of materials that serve as a foundation for CEO speeches and presentations, putting together research and starter content for high-visibility speeches, remarks, scripts and presentation for internal audiences including town halls, leadership forums, and company-wide gatherings.
  • Build and manage the CEO’s Viva Engage strategy to increase leader visibility and drive meaningful employee engagement. This includes crafting thought leadership content, reflections on site visits, milestone moments, and timely posts that reflect the CEO’s authentic voice and strategic priorities.
  • Own communications for the CEO’s award programs, including all associated messaging and content for recognition initiatives that celebrate employees who embody Honeywell’s principles of agility, innovation, and leadership (e.g., CEO’s Awards, GTM Awards, and Senior Leadership Awards).
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive metrics dashboard to track and report on the performance of CEO communications, ensuring data accuracy and delivering actionable insights that drive continuous improvement across channels and formats.
  • Standardize and continuously improve the CEO Communications playbook, including processes, messaging templates, briefing materials, scripts, and onboarding resources that ensure consistency, speed, and quality at scale.
  • Partner in lockstep with the Manager, CEO Events to ensure all communication content — scripts, run-of-show narratives, pre- and post-event messaging, survey communications, and audience-facing materials — is aligned, on-message, and ready on time.
  • Develop turnkey messaging and content toolkits for site and regional communicators to support CEO-related moments such as site visits and town halls, ensuring local teams can deliver a consistent experience with minimal friction.
  • Contribute to editorial planning in support of Honeywell’s drive for growth, helping shape the CEO’s thought leadership calendar and ensuring the communications strategy reflects the company’s enterprise priorities.
  • Collaborate with communicators across regions and businesses to amplify the reach and impact of CEO communications.
  • Work independently and with speed to compose error-free, high-profile deliverables that require minimal revision.
