About the role

As a Commercial Data Analyst at Elvium Life Sciences, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization. Joining a small, highly skilled business analytics team, you will take ownership of end-to-end commercial reporting, advanced analytics, and transforming CRM data into actionable insights to optimize field execution, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams. This is a hands-on role for a motivated, analytically driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. You will have broad exposure across sales performance, sales force effectiveness, segmentation and targeting, and CRM optimization, with real opportunity to influence strategy and execution while adding tangible value to the business from day one.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end weekly, monthly, and quarterly commercial reporting, including data loading, validation, analysis, dashboard updates
  • Prepare and present sales performance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities by brand, region, territory, customer, and channel
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain automated dashboards and analytical reports using multiple internal and external data sources
  • Identify and implement new data sources, database strategies, and analytical methodologies to support evolving business needs
  • Support leadership meetings, business reviews, and sales meetings with data-driven insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Customer Service, and Medical teams
  • Act as a key analytics and insights partner for Regional Sales Managers, National Sales manager, and Key Account Managers
  • Support Sales Force Effectiveness initiatives, including performance measurement, productivity analysis, and KPI tracking.
  • Prepare and maintain sales performance dashboards, scorecards, and KPI trackers for field and leadership teams
  • Conduct territory alignment and realignment analysis, including workload, potential sizing, coverage, and equity assessment
  • Support segmentation and targeting exercises, using prescribing, sales, and customer-level data to define and maintain HCP segments.
  • Enable call planning and deployment analysis, assessing reach, frequency, coverage, and call effectiveness
  • Perform analysis on field force activity, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve execution quality
  • Deliver recurring and ad-hoc sales organization performance reports, forming a core component of the role
  • Ensure data consistency and alignment across sales performance, SFE outputs, and CRM systems
  • Act as a CRM enablement expert, with hands-on experience in Salesforce and Veeva CRM
  • Translate SFE and segmentation outputs into CRM configurations, ensuring accurate field execution.
  • Configuring or supporting HCP segment dropdowns based on targeting logic
  • Mapping key message dropdowns and detailing priorities within Veeva CRM
  • Aligning call planning fields with SFE recommendations
  • Ensure CRM structures reflect current territory alignments, targeting rules, and brand strategies
  • Support monitoring of CRM adoption, data quality, and field compliance (calls, reach, frequency, targeting adherence)
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, and IT to support CRM enhancements, releases, and reporting needs

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Life Sciences, or related field
  • Masters degree in a similar field is an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics, sales operations, SFE, or BI roles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, data models)
  • Strong experience with pharmaceutical data sources, such as IQVIA / IMS Rx Dynamics, Xponent, TSA, Pharmastat, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of prescribing data, account-level sales data, and patient utilization metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce and Veeva CRM, including data loads and CRM configuration support.
  • Experience aligning SFE outputs (segmentation, targeting, call planning) into CRM systems.
  • Working knowledge of BI and visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across commercial functions.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to process optimization.
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude.
