We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CloudOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior CloudOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of software development and deployment processes, enabling efficient and scalable operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud platforms, automation, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in software delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust cloud infrastructure solutions, utilizing industry best practices for high availability, performance, and security. 
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless software delivery and automated deployments across multiple environments. 
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to define and implement efficient workflows, ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems. 
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve the efficiency of software development and deployment processes, such as infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring. 
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems promptly. 
  • Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation, and evaluate their applicability to enhance the existing infrastructure and processes. 
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development. 
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies into the DevOps ecosystem.

Skills and Requirements 

  • A minimum bachelor's degree is required, although a master's degree is preferred in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. 
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred) or Azure including infrastructure provisioning, networking, and security. 
  • Proficiency in configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Chef, Packer, or Terraform. 
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. 
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methodologies, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated testing. 
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. 
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation and tooling development. 
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like New Relic, ELK stack, or Datadog. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with keen attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior members of a DevOps team.
