JOB SUMMARY: This role serves as subject matter expert for cloud infrastructure as code and cloud application design. Work involves building and maintaining cloud systems, projects and Terraform code pipelines while also providing technical support. Resources to do the job require understanding of cloud platforms (OCI, Azure and AWS).


JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 
Project Management (30%):
1.) Provides engineering consulting and recommendations for all new Cloud systems to ensure the interoperability and adherence to Multiplan technology standards and policies of all systems
2.) Serves as lead for cloud group projects as well as internal IT and business driven initiatives
3.) Builds, develops, and manages technical solutions on Cloud
4.) Defines and monitors multiple project priorities and provides technical and administrative supervision; ensures appropriate management is apprised of operational status of projects
5.) Provides appropriate cloud resources for business applications; performs capacity planning, workload modeling/prediction, and purchasing recommendations for new cloud solutions; provides business applications enough resources for their short-term and long-term growth
6.) Documents all projects deployed and ensures cross-training to team members is completed
 
Technical Support (70%):
7.) Experience provisioning, configuring and maintaining cloud computing services such as OCI Azure and AWS
8.) Serves as expert for terraform code, modules, pipelines and understands resources required to develop end to end infrastructure as code projects.
9.) Engineering, automating, and orchestrating system provisioning and maintenance processes using modern cloud tools and technologies.
10.) Understanding the needs for new initiatives to build scalable, distributed and high-performance computing cloud-based platform solutions.
11.) Collaborating with solutions architects, application developers and security teams to follow best practices
13.) Installing configuring, maintaining, and supporting applications and systems in public cloud environments
14.) Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, terraform coding and providing associated training as required
16.) Provides a current, well-managed operating environment for production processing and application development
17.) Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by monitoring systems and submitted through the ticketing system of fully documented issues, actions taken, and steps for resolution
18.) Provides support on all systems to meet departmental Service Level Agreements
19.) Provides support for business continuity, cloud or on-site support for annual disaster recovery test
 
General:
20.) Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
21.) Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
22.) Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE: The incumbent works independently and relies on past experience to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent possesses an extensive range of knowledge of practices and procedures within the field and acts a resource for less experienced team members. Work is varied and complex.
Preferred Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
 

* 5+ years experience in the design, configuration, deployment and administration of cloud environments. Must have experience supporting cloud native technologies and terraform IAC code.
* Technical skills required:

  • Azure
  • AWS
  • OCI
  • Terraform Cloud
  • DNS
  • Python & Shell scripting

* Team on-call schedule required. frequency will be discussed.

* Bachelors' degree in computer science, information technology, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.

 

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $145K to $150K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
