About the role and team:
The Senior Client Solutions Origination Team Manager plays a pivotal role within Lendi’s Customer and Sales function, which comprises the Submission, Assessment and Settlement groups. We are looking for someone with industry experience to join our expanding leadership team. Lendi has been overwhelmed with cu stomer demand this year and we are always looking for great leaders to join the team and help us keep up with our customers.
Reporting to the Head of Client Solutions, you will be responsible for the performance of our Client Solutions Specialists and Approvals Teams who coordinate and provide loan processing support to our rapidly growing national teams of Brokers. This role is for someone looking to take the next step in their leadership career and make their mark in our existing management team. This fast-paced and varied role will see you accountable for (but not limited to):
Responsibilities:
● Responsible for the successful delivery of services to brokers, including meeting efficiency, quality and communication metrics.
● Lead, motivate, and effectively manage a team of Managers handling teams who provide loan processing support brokers representing different brands and CS engagement models
● Partnering with Distribution (Sales) leaders on understanding current and future needs, and in promoting the work of your team
● Building relationships with Lenders to stay informed on lodgement requirements and create a bidirectional feedback loop
● Liaise and maintain relationship and engagement with additional key internal and external stakeholders.
● Creating a highly engaged team, including as measured by Lendi Group’s twice yearly engagement surveys
● Actively demonstrating Lendi Group’s Values and Principles.
● Work closely with Senior Management to provide strategic and performance support, in line with the business objectives
● Responsible for the delivery of strategic projects in support of the company’s Business and Growth targets.
● Drive risk and control processes to manage the efficiency, quality, and strength of communication between your team and our brokers
● Champion the “growth mindset”; lead and continuously identify and implement process improvements.
● Coach and mentor employees to drive performance to KPI targets, team member development and career aspirations.
● Manage and ensure proper resourcing is maintained and provide coverage support for multiple teams as needed for operational business continuity.
Qualifications
● Has at least 5 to 10 years of Australian Mortgage experience.
● Has at least 3 years’ experience in a leadership capacity.
● Experience relevant to the role is preferred with a strong understanding and previous exposure to the Australian Mortgage Market.
● Must have extensive lending/broker/finance support experience, preferably in Credit Assessment with exposure to entire application processes from submission to settlement.
● Proven track record of providing effective leadership and mentoring to Team Members.
● Business/Commerce/Finance degree or diploma preferred but not essential.
● Self-motivated with a desire to exceed expectations.
● Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, delegate and prioritise as appropriate, based on the situation.
● A high degree of competency in computer and web applications.
● Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; including a strong and fluent command of English.
● Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
● Exemplary stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to think and act swiftly and proactively.
