RoleMission

The Senior Client Executive – Retail plays a key role in supporting and developing Worldpanel by Numerator’s relationship with Retail clients, ensuring the timely, accurate and insightful delivery of data, reporting, analysis and client-facing outputs.

This role acts as a strong operational and analytical partner within the Retail Client Services team, supporting the delivery of high-quality client work, contributing to actionable insights, and helping translate consumer panel data into clear recommendations that support client decision-making.

As a senior member of the Client Executive population, the role is expected to demonstrate autonomy, technical confidence, strong client-service standards and the ability to manage multiple priorities across accounts, while supporting more junior colleagues and contributing to the continuous improvement of ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery and Account Support

  • Support the Retail Client Director and Client Manager in the day-to-day management of Retail client accounts, ensuring client requests, regular deliverables, projects and presentations are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Prepare, analyse and deliver reports, presentations, data extracts and other client outputs, ensuring a high standard of quality, consistency and relevance.
  • Translate client needs and commercial priorities into clear analytical briefs, ensuring that outputs respond effectively to the business questions raised.
  • Contribute proactively to client meetings, presentations and discussions, demonstrating confidence in explaining data, trends and implications.
  • Ensure that scheduled and reactive client commitments are met, maintaining strong communication standards and service reliability.
  • Build trusted relationships with client contacts by demonstrating professionalism, credibility, responsiveness and a strong understanding of their business context.

Insight Generation and Analytical Excellence

  • Analyse consumer panel data to identify meaningful trends, opportunities and risks within the Retail landscape.
  • Develop clear, structured and actionable recommendations based on facts, figures and a critical interpretation of data.
  • Apply curiosity and commercial understanding to connect data points, challenge assumptions and generate relevant insights for clients.
  • Ensure all analysis is accurate, coherent and aligned with Worldpanel by Numerator methodologies and quality expectations.
  • Support the identification of opportunities to add value to existing client relationships through improved analysis, storytelling and consulting support.

Project and Workflow Management

  • Manage multiple client deliverables, timelines and requests with autonomy, ensuring priorities are clear and deadlines are respected.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects, proposals, reporting cycles and ad hoc requests.
  • Review project schedules and adjust timelines or priorities where needed, escalating risks or challenges appropriately.
  • Contribute to the development of workflows, templates and best practices that improve efficiency, quality and knowledge sharing within the Retail team.
  • Support the effective implementation of the Client Services matrix model by working across clients, managers and directors as needed.

Technical and Category Expertise

  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Worldpanel by Numerator’s household panel, retail measurement tools, reporting platforms and data methodologies.
  • Build expertise in the Retail sector, including shopper behaviour, channel dynamics, category performance, pricing, promotions and competitive trends.
  • Use Excel, PowerPoint and relevant reporting tools confidently to produce robust analysis and compelling deliverables.
  • Continuously improve technical and analytical capabilities, seeking feedback and applying learnings to future client work.

Team Contribution and Seniority

  • Act as a reference point for Client Executives and junior colleagues, sharing knowledge, supporting onboarding and contributing to team development.
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability and a proactive attitude in solving problems and improving deliverables.
  • Contribute positively to team culture through collaboration, resilience, flexibility and willingness to support colleagues across accounts.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy and client service in all internal and external interactions.

Required Experience and Capabilities

Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Management, Sociology, Business, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in market research, consumer insights, client service, FMCG, retail, category management or data analytics.
  • Experience working with Retail, FMCG or shopper / consumer panel data is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and work effectively in a fast-paced client-service environment.
  • Experience preparing client-facing presentations, reports and analytical recommendations.

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with numerical data.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including ability to structure analysis, manipulate data and apply formulas accurately.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear, visually effective and client-ready presentations.
  • Ability to interpret data critically and translate findings into concise, commercially relevant conclusions.
  • Familiarity with consumer panel, retail tracking, shopper insights or business intelligence tools is an advantage.

Salary Range: €26K–€28K
