Position Summary
The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic Financial Institution clients while driving revenue growth, retention, and operational excellence.
 
The role serves as a trusted advisor to clients and an internal advocate for customer success, combining deep expertise in cross-border payments, foreign exchange, operational workflows, and relationship management.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Client Relationship Management
  • Own a portfolio of strategic Financial Institution clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and operational stakeholders.
  • Lead regular business reviews and service discussions.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for client issues and service concerns.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to improve retention and grow wallet share.
Revenue Growth
  • Identify opportunities to increase payment volumes, FX revenue, and product adoption.
  • Monitor client activity and market trends to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Dealers to develop commercial opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and opportunity record in Salesforce.
Operational Leadership
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Manage complex operational, regulatory, contractual, and servicing issues.
  • Drive resolution of client escalations and identify root causes of recurring problems.
  • Monitor client activity for trends, risks, and service improvement opportunities.
Subject Matter Expertise
  • Develop deep expertise in Convera's payment and FX solutions.
  • Understand the regulatory and operational environments in which Financial Institutions operate.
  • Provide guidance internally on client requirements, servicing models, and industry trends.
  • Support new product launches, migrations, and strategic initiatives.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
  • Support onboarding and training of newer CRMs.
  • Share best practices and provide coaching across the team.
  • Act as a senior resource and escalation point for complex client situations.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operating model enhancements.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
  • 5+ years' experience in relationship management, account management, payments, banking, treasury, fintech, or foreign exchange.
  • Experience managing Financial Institution clients or complex B2B relationships.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth and account retention.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.

Pay Transparency Statement

Convera is committed to pay transparency and equity in accordance with applicable U.S. state and local laws. For this position, the expected base salary range is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographic location. We use a tiered geographic pay system to ensure fairness across regions. Candidates in high-cost areas may receive higher offers within the posted range.
