As Senior Channel Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will support growth and market expansion through strategic channel partnerships across our industry-leading scientific product portfolio. You'll develop and execute comprehensive channel strategies to optimize performance and revenue, while building strong relationships with distributors and key customers. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll partner across divisions to implement effective field initiatives, provide product training, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role combines commercial expertise, strategic planning, and relationship management to deliver sustained business growth through our channel partners.
Your contributions will include developing and maintaining senior-level relationships with strategic channel partners, implementing sales strategies to achieve growth targets, conducting market analysis to identify opportunities, and establishing robust business review processes. You'll serve as a key liaison between Thermo Fisher Scientific and our distribution network, ensuring alignment of objectives and excellent execution of go-to-market strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Masters Degree plus 8 years of progressive experience in sales, channel management, or related commercial roles within the life sciences, diagnostics, or scientific instruments industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related scientific or commercial field
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel internationally
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing business through channel partners
• Strong understanding of distribution channel dynamics and partner relationship management
• Excellent analytical and business planning skills with ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives
• Advanced communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Experience working effectively in a collaborative organization
• Proficiency in CRM systems (especially Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to travel 40-60% of time, including overnight stays
• English proficiency required; additional language skills valued
• Experience working with scientific instrumentation, laboratory products, or diagnostic systems preferred
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Strong customer focus and demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships
