Job Summary
The Senior EHR Project Manager, Acute Facility Deployments independently manages multiple projects involving Oracle Health EHR, information systems, and database management. This role requires experience with multi-facility design, planning, execution, and oversight of complex initiatives.
The Senior EHR Project Manager, Acute Facility Deployments will be responsible for the technical aspects of project management and will coordinate with departmental and cross-functional teams to deliver expert-level customer support. They must possess comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the EHR system, deployments, and ongoing support.
The ideal candidate is confident in leading projects, managing vendor resources, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Strong communication skills and adherence to corporate and departmental policies are essential.
Essential Functions
- This role requires a strong team leader who can coordinate efforts among multiple stakeholders. Successful implementation involves managing expectations of hospital executives and physicians, collaborating with local medical staff (nurses and technicians), engaging local technical resources (systems analysts and programmers), and working closely with vendor support teams.
- Ensures projects are executed with precision by applying strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through to drive tasks, deliverables, and milestones to completion.
- Develops and maintains project management tools and documentation to ensure comprehensive planning, execution, and tracking of all project activities, from business requirements through project completion.
- Manages large-scale or mission-critical projects with complex scope and high visibility.
- Leads stakeholder engagement, executive updates, and vendor relationships.
- Owns project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract alignment.
- Anticipates and mitigates risks across work streams and resource groups.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field required
- A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5-7 years of experience managing projects, preferably in a technology, digital, or enterprise setting required
- Experience managing high-budget projects and leading vendor partnerships required
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience across multiple Acute Facility EHR implementation projects, from inception to stabilization, with specific expertise in Cerner, is highly preferred.
- 3 + years of experience with Smartsheet preferred.
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced project leadership skills with the ability to lead large-scale, high-visibility, or mission-critical initiatives across business and technical domains.
- Demonstrated experience navigating matrixed organizations and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
