Sabre is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer (C++ or Java) to support the Inventory Team/ Project. This person will report to the Maciej Przybycien.
The product is the state-of-the-art Inventory Management and availability processing solution for airlines using a high performance, scalable and cloud enabled open systems architecture to provide optimal management of seats while increasing revenues through enabling revenue optimizations, sophisticated rules engine, point-of-sale control, dynamic availability, dynamic pricing.
The Product processes over 7 Billion transactions a day, with peak volumes reaching over 1000 updates/second and over 100K transactions/second, with an average response time of 10 milli seconds. In addition, the product supports over 20 interfaces to other products and supports web services.
Role and Responsibilities:

Develops, codes, tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing product

Designs, plans, develops and improves applications using routine and advanced technology

Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of application & system

Encourage high coding standards, using best practices and high quality
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Relevant years of related experience

Experience in fast paced Software Development in Agile environment

Experience and expertise in advanced C++ or Java programming and solutioning

Very good knowledge of C++ or Java development in Linux environment.

Very good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.

Good communication and team working skills

Knowledge of Boost and STL C++ Libraries or Java Collections
