About Engine

Engine is the AI-native platform for intelligent travel. For a decade, Engine has built the proprietary technology and supply behind modern business travel, serving over 40,000 customers and nearly 2 million travelers, along with leading travel and AI companies that build on Engine's infrastructure. One system powers business travel, group travel, human agents, and AI agents.
That work has earned Engine recognition as TravelTech's Reservation Platform of the Year (2026), a spot on Inc.'s Power Partners list (2026), and one of Built In's Best Places to Work (2020–2026).
We're looking for bold, ambitious people to help redefine how businesses manage and experience travel. Working here, you can expect exponential growth, an ambitious pace, full ownership, and high-caliber colleagues who push you to do the best work of your career. Every hire raises the bar.
Come outpace the ordinary and build the future of travel with us.

About the Role

Business Systems is shifting from a classic admin/ops setup to a more engineering-led team. We want people who write code, take release process seriously, and use AI to increase your efficiency 10x.

You'll help build and connect the systems behind Engine's go-to-market motion: CRM, engagement, enrichment, automation, and the glue between them. Some of that lives in Salesforce; a lot of it is integrations, internal tooling, and workflows that span multiple platforms. You'll ship through git and CI/CD, not one-off manual deploys, and help us get sharper at that as the team changes shape.

A big part of the job is automation — wiring AI into production workflows where it cuts manual work, and using coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code in your own day-to-day, with normal review and testing. You'll sit with RevOps, Sales, and Growth on the problems that actually matter, turn them into systems that stick, and leave the next person something they can maintain.

What We're Looking For
  • 3–5 years as a business systems / GTM systems engineer (or similar) — building, integrating, and automating, not ticket-only admin work
  • Comfortable writing code where it counts (scripting, APIs, light application work) and knowing when a no-code or low-code path is enough
  • Hands-on with git and CI/CD for how changes get to production
  • Some real AI work under your belt — shipped automations, agents, or heavy use of AI coding tools on production systems
  • Experience across a modern GTM stack (CRM, sequencing/engagement, enrichment, iPaaS / integration layer) — Salesforce is a plus and part of our world, not the only thing that matters
  • Can explain tradeoffs to non-engineers without drowning them in jargon

Nice to have: Salesforce Admin or Platform Developer certs, travel/marketplace background, Data Cloud / Agentforce, or you've helped a systems team make a similar move toward engineering practices.

Why this role

You're not joining a finished machine. You'll help decide how Business Systems builds and ships going forward, with plenty of exposure across GTM and Engineering at a company that's already at scale and cash-flow positive.

Applications for this role will be accepted until the role is filled. We encourage you to apply early, as we may begin reviewing applications before the deadline.

Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience, expertise, and location. In addition to a competitive base salary, all roles receive equity. Depending on the role, total compensation may also include an annual bonus. Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.

Base Pay Range
$101,200—$140,000 USD

Skills Required

  • 3-5 years of experience as a business systems or go-to-market systems engineer, or in a similar role
  • Experience building, integrating, and automating business systems rather than performing ticket-only administration
  • Ability to write code for scripting, APIs, and light application development
  • Experience determining when no-code or low-code solutions are appropriate
  • Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD processes for production releases
  • Experience shipping AI automations, agents, or using AI coding tools on production systems
  • Experience with a modern go-to-market technology stack, including CRM, engagement or sequencing, enrichment, and iPaaS or integration tools
  • Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineering stakeholders
  • Salesforce Admin or Salesforce Platform Developer certification
  • Travel or marketplace industry experience
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or Agentforce
  • Experience helping a systems team adopt engineering practices
