Information Systems at Lambda is responsible for building and scaling the internal systems that power our business. We partner across the company Finance, GTM, Engineering, and People to implement tools, automate workflows, and ensure data flows securely and accurately. Our scope includes enterprise applications, integrations, data platform and analytics, compliance automation, and all things IT.


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Architect to lead and innovate across our enterprise systems landscape. This role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence through the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable business processes and systems integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless workflows across financial systems, supply chain, and customer-facing platforms while leveraging process automation tools and middleware solutions.

Your responsibilities will include architecting end-to-end solutions, managing complex system integrations, and building a strategic roadmap for enterprise system enhancements. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and a proactive approach to solving business challenges.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Data Center Operations, and Engineering to define and execute scalable system roadmaps.

  • Align enterprise system capabilities with long-term business and operational goals.

Solution Design & Implementation

  • Architect, configure, and deploy advanced workflows, modules, and configurations in enterprise platforms such as NetSuite, Netbox, ServiceNow, and Salesforce.

  • Lead technical design sessions with product managers and business stakeholders, translating requirements into system configurations, customizations, and scripts.

Tooling Selection & Standardization

  • Evaluate, select, and implement enterprise tools and systems to meet operational needs and ensure scalability.

  • Establish governance standards for tool usage, integration practices, and long-term support models.

Integration & Automation

  • Manage integrations and optimize iPaaS solutions (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, Alteryx) for automated workflows and interoperability across platforms.

  • Partner with Integration and Data Engineers to embed Financial and Operational applications into broader system and data ecosystems.

Compliance & Optimization

  • Ensure SOX compliance through effective ITGCs, internal controls, and system audits.

  • Continuously improve systems, processes, and reporting for accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

Support & Analytics

  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide escalated technical support.

  • Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

  • Deliver actionable insights through advanced reporting, saved searches, and dashboards to inform decision-making.

Finance & Asset Management Focus

  • Design and support processes in NetSuite Inventory, NetAsset, Netbox, Hyperview, Servicenow (CMDB) and similar or related applications.

  • Integrate inventory data from procurement systems and infrastructure tools.

  • Implement accounting rules and depreciation logic for capital assets and leases.

  • Support CIP (Construction in Progress) conversion to fixed assets and ensure accurate depreciation schedules.

  • Build reconciliations and controls across inventory, GL, and physical deployment.

  • Partner with Data Center Infra Ops, Inventory Control, Accounting, and FP&A teams to model asset lifecycle and value.

  • Design and implement lease administration and accounting solutions using tools like Trullion, NetLease, Costar and similar or related applications..

You

Experience & Certification

  • 12+ years of experience in business systems architecture or administration, with hands-on implementation of enterprise systems.

  • 5+ years specifically working with NetSuite modules and finance accounting and asset management systems.

  • Strong understanding of Finance technology stacks and DCIM tools, including NetSuite, Servicenow, Salesforce, and or billing systems.

  • Certifications in platforms such as NetSuite Administrator, Workato, or other iPaaS strongly preferred.

Technical Expertise

  • Hands-on proficiency in NetSuite development (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, SquareWorks workflows).

  • Strong programming and scripting experience (JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS, Python).

  • Experience with middleware and low/no-code platforms (Workato, Mulesoft, Alteryx) for integration and workflow automation.

Process Automation

  • Proven track record of designing and deploying automation tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.

Compliance & Controls

  • Strong knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs), SOX compliance, and audit frameworks.

  • Experience in building and maintaining reconciliations and controls across finance and infrastructure systems.

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders across technical teams and executive leadership.

  • Proven ability to simplify and present complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing a team of business systems and Salesforce professionals.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in system customization tools like SuiteScript or similar.

  • Experience with intelligent automation technologies (RPA, NLP, OCR, ML).

  • Exposure to launching internal low-code applications to accelerate business processes.
