Summarized Purpose:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst supports the alignment of business services, processes, and supporting systems across the organization.
This role works across business teams, IT infrastructure, and vendor partners to improve clarity, coordination, and visibility. The position focuses on documenting business capabilities, mapping processes and systems, acting as an interface between clinical sites and global IT/network teams, and supporting structured vendor engagement activities.
The role requires strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively across business and technical stakeholders.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years’ experience in business systems or business process analysis
- Experience working across business and IT environments
- Exposure to vendor-supported systems or technology procurement preferred
- Experience in clinical research, regulated healthcare, or similar environments preferred
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Business Capability & Systems Alignment
- Define and document business services and supporting capabilities
- Develop clear end-to-end process maps
- Map systems and data to business processes to improve visibility
- Identify gaps, duplication, and improvement opportunities
- Support system standardization and optimization initiatives
- Clinical Technical Network Coordination
- Act as the interface between clinical teams and global IT/network teams
- Support non-technical stakeholders in articulating site system and network needs
- Help define and maintain a centralized repository for site-level systems and network information
- Assist in coordinating site expansions, transitions, or infrastructure-related changes
- Vendor Engagement & Commercial Support
- Support projects involving system and technology vendors
- Contribute to standardized templates and processes for vendor engagement
- Coordinate with Procurement and Legal on commercialization activities
- Support tracking and documentation of vendor-related initiatives
- Workflow & Process Support
- Identify improvement opportunities where systems and processes intersect
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to support clear process documentation
- Support implementation and adoption of improved system-enabled workflows

- Strong understanding of how business processes and systems connect
- Experience creating structured process maps (e.g., Visio or similar tools)

Must Have Skills:
- Experience mapping end-to-end processes

- Organized, methodical approach to analysis
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience in clinical research, healthcare, or regulated environments
- Exposure to technology procurement processes
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure
- Experience establishing or maintaining centralized documentation repositories (SharePoint, Confluence, etc.)
Working Hours:
India: 05:30 PM to 02:30 AM IST
Philippines: 08:00 PM to 05:00 AM PHT
