The Partner Operations organization at Workday is critical to the success and scalability of our global partner ecosystem. We are responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the processes and systems that enable seamless collaboration and growth with our diverse network of partners. We are a dynamic and collaborative team focused on continuous improvement and driving operational excellence.

About the Role

Role Overview:

  • Workday is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Process Analyst to join our Partner Business Process team. As a senior-level individual, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing efficient and scalable business processes that support our growing partner ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Partner Sales, Alliances, Legal, Finance, Support, Product and more, to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall partner experience. Your expertise in business process methodologies, including Agile principles, and your ability to translate business needs into actionable and scalable solutions will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis, documentation, and optimization of key business processes within Partner Operations, including partner onboarding, enablement, deal registration, revenue sharing, partner performance management, new offering launches, and much more.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand business requirements, identify pain points, and propose innovative process improvements.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation to clearly articulate current and future state processes.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage technology and automation to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in the implementation and testing of new processes and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance, identify areas for optimization, and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Assist in developing and delivering enablement materials and communications related to process changes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of process governance frameworks and standards.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Partner Operations processes, providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to partner programs and operations.
  • Apply Agile methodologies and principles to process improvement initiatives, fostering iterative development and continuous feedback. 

About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.  

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, preferably within a technology or SaaS company.

  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and channel operations.

  • Proven ability to analyze complex business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop practical solutions.

  • Experience with process mapping and workflow tools (e.g., Miro, Visio, Lucidchart).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.  

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.

  • Demonstrated experience applying Agile methodologies and principles (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to process improvement projects.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) is highly desirable.

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Tableau, Smartsheet) is beneficial.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience working directly with or supporting partner organizations.

  • Certification in Business Process Management (e.g., CBAP, Lean Six Sigma) or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, CSPO).

  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Ability to influence and drive change across organizational boundaries.


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $115,600 USD - $173,400 USD


 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $109,800 USD - $195,100 USD
